Leu won gold at Turin Games

BERN, Switzerland -- Former Olympic freestyle aerials champion Evelyne Leu of Switzerland has retired.
The Swiss ski federation said Tuesday the 33-year-old skier was ending her career after 15 years at the elite level.
Leu is a four-time Olympian who peaked in the 2006 season. That year, she won the gold medal at the Turin Games and the season-long aerials World Cup title.
She also won a silver medal at the 2005 world championships in Ruka, Finland.
Leu finished 16th at the Vancouver Olympics in her final event.
