Martin Koch gets second World Cup win
OBERSTDORF, Germany -- Martin Koch of Austria won a ski jump event for his second World Cup victory Saturday.
Koch had the day's longest jump of 214.5 meters in the first round and reached 210.5 on his second for a total of 428.4 points, ending a streak of five individual World Cup competitions without an Austrian victory.
Norwegian Tom Hilde finished second with 406.6 points, after jumps of 192.5 and 209.5 meters.
Austria's Gregor Schlierenzauer jumped 198.0 and 208.5 meters for 404.5 points to claim his first podium this season.
Austria leads the team tour with 2,985.1 points, ahead of Poland on 2,840.6 and Germany on 2,823.4 points.
