Neuner wins second medal of Games
WHISTLER, British Columbia -- Magdalena Neuner of Germany won the women's 10-kilometer biathlon pursuit for her second medal at the Vancouver Olympics.
Neuner pulled away from Anastazia Kuzmina of Slovakia at the second shooting position Tuesday and won in 30 minutes, 16 seconds.
Kuzmina won silver after finishing 12.3 seconds behind. Marie Laure Brunet of France took the bronze medal, 28.3 seconds back.
Neuner won silver in the opening 7.5K sprint, which Kuzmina won.
American Sara Studebaker of Boise, Idaho finished 46th with a time of 35:00.1, including two shooting penalties.
