Second-period goals give Sweden shutout

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Defending champion Sweden shook off a slow start as Mattias Ohlund and Loui Eriksson scored in the second period to help beat Germany 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Swedes did not have a shot on net until midway through the scoreless first period in their Vancouver Games opener.
