Fishing with a wake bait is not top-of-mind for most anglers, but it can lead to quality bites and heavy sacks, especially in fall.

Run the bait along the top of the water very slowly, making the lure leave a V-shaped wake behind it. Start off with the rod high, but lower it as the lure gets closer to the boat. Download the page here to learn more about how and when to fish a wake bait. Story
