2006 Majors qualifications

• Must be a current Elite Series Pro in good standing
• Top (10) BASS All time money winners from the most recently concluded BASS event
• Top 40 anglers from the combined ranking list:

    • 2004 AOY ranking
    • Plus 2005 AOY ranking
    • Plus 2006 AOY ranking immediately prior to each 2006 Major

• Additional anglers qualified based on previous BASS announcements

Format

Days One and Two
• 50 Anglers fish
• Anglers fish out of their own wrapped boats
• Take off will be approximately 7 — 8 a.m.
• Weigh-ins will be mid afternoon

Day Three
• Cut to the top 12 anglers
• Anglers fish out of their own wrapped boats
• 12 boats on a 6-hole course
• Weights zeroed

Final Day
• Cut to the top 6 anglers
• Anglers fish out of their own wrapped boats
• 6 boats on a 6-hole course
• Weights from day three carry over to day four
• Same-day coverage on ESPN2

Course rules

• Anglers will fish 1 hour and 10 minutes per hole, rotating to the next hole for a total of 7 hours
• During the 8th hour anglers will be allowed to go anywhere on the course

Seeding (Boat Numbers) for field

• Take off order
• Current AOY Standings following most recently concluded Elite Series event
• Top 10 BASS money winners from the most recently concluded BASS event not in the group above
• Anglers invited from previous BASS announcements

Cut Seeding (Days Three and Four)

• Based on AOY standings after the most recently concluded Elite Series Event
• Top seed first in hole selection
• Any ties moving to next round go back to AOY seeding

Course restrictions

• Boats allowed on course during practice and initial competition days
• Gas engine only with Pro in drivers seat
• NO FISHING
• NO TROLLING MOTOR

Entry Fee

• ZERO
