Zac Brown Band

The Zac Brown Band, the band behind the hit single Chicken Fried, is up for several American Music Awards this fall.

Zac Brown and his band fired up a crowd of 14,000 before the final weigh-in at the 2009 Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport, La. More recently, the group was featured at the conclusion of Toyota Trucks Championship week in Montgomery, Ala., after Kevin VanDam claimed his fifth Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year award and hoisted the Roland Martin trophy.

The band was thrilled to have been invited back to Championship week, and now they're asking BASS members for support on their nominations.

They are up for:

• Favorite Country Music Band, Duo or Group
• Favorite Country Music Album (Foundation)
