2008 & 2009 Elite Series Qualifying Sheet

2007 WILDCARD QUALIFYING

Field — up to 50 boaters and 50 Co-anglers (Co-angler field is dependent on Boater participation) Location — Lake Okeechobee, FL

2007 Elite Series anglers who have not previously qualified for the 2008 Elite Series 15 Pros from the 2007 Bassmaster Central Opens 15 Pros form the 2007 Bassmaster Southern Opens

(BASS will move down the respective Open points list up to and including the 25th finishing position. If fifteen Elite Series Wild Card spots have not been secured from these eligible qualifiers, BASS will take fewer anglers to the Elite Series Wild Card Event.)

2008 ELITE SERIES QUALIFYING

Field — 110 Boaters and 110 C0-Anglers

How to Qualify

• 84 — The top 84 anglers from the 2007 Elite Angler of the Year final standings

• 5 — The top 5 from the 2007 Southern Opens Pro Points list final standings (BASS will move down the Bassmaster Southern Open points list to the tenth (10) finishing position (inclusive of the #10 spot). If the five Elite Series spots have not been secured from these eligible qualifiers, BASS will secure the remaining 2008 Elite Series qualifiers by going down the 2007 Elite Series Toyota Angler of the Year list)

• 5 — The top 5 from the 2007 Central Opens Pro Points list final standings (BASS will move down the Bassmaster Central Open points list to the tenth (10) finishing position (inclusive of the #10 spot). If the five Elite Series spots have not been secured from these eligible qualifiers, BASS will secure the remaining 2008 Elite Series qualifiers by going down the 2007 Elite Series Toyota Angler of the Year list.)

• 3 — The 2004, 2005 and 2006 Angler of the year (Duplications run down the 2007 Elite Series Toyota Angler of the Year final standings)

• 2 — The 2007 and 2008 Classic Champion (Duplications run down the 2007 Elite Series Toyota Angler of the Year final standings if the 2007 Classic Champion has already qualified. If the 2008 Classic Champion has already qualified we will not move down the list but take one less angler to the Elite Series)

• 1 — The most recent Federation Nation Champion

• 10 — The top 10 from the Wild Card Event

Field — 110 Boaters and 110 C0-Anglers

ELITE SERIES QUALIFYING EXEMPTIONS for 2008 and 2009

Exemptions into the Elite Series can be earned in three ways 1) Participating in 10 or more Bassmaster Classics. 2) Winning a Bassmaster Classic 3) Winning the Angler of the Year

You must be an angler in good standing to utilize an exemption. You may not have any more then two exemptions in your "bank" After March 1, 2008 Anglers may accumulate additional exemptions not to exceed a total of two in your "bank"
