LAKE GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. #151; Jason Tucker of Cedar Bluff, Ala., doubled up Saturday twice, now he's just hoping his fish holds up for the grand prize of the McDonald's Big Bass Splash.

Tucker weighed in a 10.21-pound bass in the 8 a.m.-9 a.m. hour on Saturday to earn $1,000 for first place, and he doubled that by investing $15 in a T-shirt that awarded the bonus for two specific hours.

Tucker caught the fish around 6:30 a.m., his first bite of the day. He was fishing a DD22- Citrus Shad in 8 to 9 feet of water.

Tucker also caught a 6.74 and weighed it in the 12-1 hour, which won him an additional $1,000 for topping that hour. He must know now what they mean when they say, "you've got to spend money to make money" as his T-shirt earned him a second $1,000 bonus. His $15 Bonus T-shirt won him an extra $2,000 for the day.

Tucker now hopes the 10.21 will hold up for the overall place to win a Triton 18 Explorer powered by Mercury Marine, equipped with Minn Kota trolling motor and Lowrance Electronics.
