SYNOPSIS: Matt Eastman, host of Wanna Go Fishing, asked Bassmaster elite angler and former "ABC's Bachelor" Byron Velvick to help start a Wanna Go Fishing Movement. The premise is that anyone can take another person on a spontaneous fishing trip.

The Wanna Go Fishing Movement encourages you, a fan of Wanna Go Fishing, to take someone special in your life or someone from your community on a last minute get-away. You don't have to travel a great distance or take extended time off from work. You could literally take anyone on a fishing trip lasting hours to days. You could take them for a lunch hour getaway to your favorite local spot, or on a weekend getaway that you've always wanted to try. Your guest could be anyone: newcomers, heroes, friends, family, or maybe someone who wouldn't otherwise be able to go on their own.

WHAT IS THE WANNA GO FISHING MOVEMENT? Your task is to find someone special and take them fishing (on-the- spot). While taking them fishing, we encourage you to instill in them a desire to pass along the favor, by taking someone fishing themselves.

HOW DOES THE MOVEMENT WORK? The Wanna Go Fishing Movement is all about spreading the spirit of a spontaneous fishing get-away. It can be someplace local or further away. The goal is to do something special for someone who deserves a break and to encourage them to pass along the favor and do the same for someone else.

WHAT DO I DO? Give it a try, take someone fishing and send us a summary of your story - up to 200 words! You may end up being featured on the ESPN website! Or who knows, you may even get a call to appear on a segment of next season's show!

WHAT ABOUT PHOTOS? Make sure you take pics and if possible shoot some video! Hang on to your video and pics, however, until you are contacted. We will first read your story and then contact you if we decide to feature it on the website or show. Allow 4-6 weeks after submitting your story for us to get back to you.
