Hoyt Katera Compound Bow

The new Hoyt Katera is described by the company as a super-charged, fast and furious machine. Hoyt's 2008 premiere bow is light, sleek, smooth-drawing, and great-looking. It is a high-octane speed demon that boasts a blazing IBO speed of 330 fps, making it the fastest bow Hoyt has ever sent to market.

Unlike other speed bows, however, the Katera is said to remain exceptionally forgiving and easy to shoot due to Hoyt's StealthShot Technology. Powered by Hoyt's new Z3 Cam & 1/2 Performance System, the Katera maintains much higher speeds at shorter draw lengths. The flagship bow from Hoyt in 2008 also comes with a go-the-distance guarantee, so a hunter will never have to worry about the bow performing whatever the conditions.

Spott-Hogg's Whammy Fall Away Arrow Rest
The launcher on the new and improved Whammy Fall Away Arrow Rest by Spott-Hogg is instantly jerked away when the activation cord is snapped tight during the shot. This allows the Whammy's launcher to drop five times faster than most standard fall away rests according to the company.

With the launcher being spring loaded — and always in the up position — the arrow rest automatically resets itself after every shot. Vertical and horizontal micro-adjustment are available, so the Whammy helps make Spott-Hogg a player to be reckoned with in the arrow rest market.

Knight & Hale Game Calls Rack Blaster

According to Knight & Hale Game Calls, volume has always been one of the problems of traditional deer grunt calls. With the addition of the new Knight & Hale Blasting Chamber, however, the new Rack Blaster provides that extra boost of volume necessary for a hunter to reach the ears of distant bucks.

In addition, this inhale/exhale call produces all deer sounds — not just angry buck grunts — with volume and realism. The company says that the semi-flexible construction material and ergonomic shape fits comfortably in the hand and allows for a multitude of sound manipulations and inflections.

It connect directly to the digital game camera and operates on four AA batteries.

The mask and hat are made of a poly-spandex material that allows it to wick moisture and breathe. The entire hat is also treated with an anti microbial agent to fight germs and conceal odor. MSRP: $34.95.

Imperial Whitetail Pure Attraction

Deer don't need our help finding stuff to eat, but they sure appreciate it. That's why Imperial Whitetail created a food plot seed blend that lasts all season long. Pure Attraction combines the right amount of oats, brassicas and winter peas to allow each to flourish in the same plot. When one plant is gone, another one takes its place. It retails for $29.99. That's a bag big enough to plant a ¼ acre.

Double D's Arrow Puller

This handy tool is capable of extracting the most stubborn arrows from today's densely packed targets. It cradles any size arrow without crushing it, and grips more evenly along a longer section of the shaft. MSRP: $24.95.

Cuddeback improved the battery plate on all of their 2008 models, but that's not the best news for fans of the high-end digital scouting cameras. In a move to get more of their cameras into the hands of more hunters, Cuddeback is lowering their prices on all models. Retail cost for the No Flash model is now only $350.

It's smaller than other Copper John sights to look proportionate on the newer compact bows, but can easily be dialed-in to shoot just as consistently as the larger models. It also comes in most of the newest camouflage patterns, for the hunter who wouldn't be seen with components that don't match. $84.95.
