COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the first time in 10 years, the Archery Trade Association show returned to Columbus, Ohio. And before it even started, it was apparent the show was destined to be the biggest ever.
The ATA show is the archery and bowhunting industry's largest and most inclusive show.
"The pre-registration for dealers, buyers and distributors (for the 2010 show) has nearly matched their attendance for several previous shows," said Jay McAninch, ATA CEO/President. "Depending on the walk-up registrations this week, we could have one of our strongest shows ever."
Four hundred seventy eight exhibitors filled nearly 154,000 square feet of floor space at the Columbus Convention Center-an increase from last year. And of the 7,000 people pre-registered for the show, 2,600 were dealers, buyers and distributers.
In 2011, the ATA show will rotate back to Indianapolis, Indiana.
