Training routine:
I lift weights in the morning from around 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. My training area is outside so I will usually wait until 5 p.m. when it's not as hot. I train at the Schenck Forest in Raleigh, which NC State's College of Natural Resources owns.

How long have you been competing in lumberjack sports?
I started competing in lumberjack sports in the fall of 2006.

Hobbies:
For three years now my main hobby has been college. I also love to lift weights, hunt and fish, hang out with friends, and tailgating at NC State football games.

Do you participate in any nonprofit work?
I am the president of the Forestry Club at NC State so that keeps me very busy during the school year.
