FORT WORTH, Texas — While the PGA Colonial is finishing up its final day across the road on 18 holes, the Super Six anglers of the Bassmaster Memorial are ready to tackle their six in this inaugural Major.

A few things were discovered yesterday by the remaining half-dozen, and they will all apply the knowledge they gained into Sunday's competition.

Bassmaster.com asked each of the anglers before takeoff which hole they were starting from and how they envisioned their quest for $250,000 to transpire. Here's what they had to say:

    Mark Menendez
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 4
How does that affect your game plan? "I started there yesterday. I think that is really important because I know the flow, the timing, the water better, and the key areas I need to be in. The first day you try to explore as much as you can so you waist a lot of time in unproductive water. Now I can keep my bait where it needs to be."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "Three. It fits the pattern that I fished at Eagle Mountain and that's where I caught them yesterday. When I'm there I can spend happy hour there too."

    Peter Thliveros
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 5
How does that affect your game plan? "It's right where I wanted to be. I am actually an hour earlier going into the dam holes where I caught all of my fish. I think that will be better because yesterday afternoon when I went in there for happy hour I still bites I just managed to lose a couple of fish. I think the rotation will be fine."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "Number one actually. That's the one I had the most bites in."

    Greg Hackney
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 2
How does that affect your game plan? "I would have rather started in one like I did yesterday. To me though, two is as good as one. The bite is good in hole two, but the dark bite was better in hole one. There is a little bit of shad activity there. Two is so much deeper, it doesn't have the flat water in it like one does."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "Really the two I didn't catch anything, holes three and four. Those are the two holes that suited me the best and I didn't catch anything. I'm going to change up. We're going to start over like I've never seen them before. I'm not going to go back and make the same moves I did yesterday."

    Michael Iaconelli
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 1
How does that affect your game plan? "I'm starting in hole one which was my best hole yesterday. Hole one is actually the only hole that I found has a concentration of fish in it. All the other holes I felt like I was nit-picking one here and one there, but actually found a stretch in hole one where I believer there is a concentration of fish. I thought that was my best bet. It works out great because end up ending on hole six which I feel like is the second best hole. I've got a good ace in the hole at the end of the day. Yesterday I ended on what I thought was the worst hole, number four, and it's kind of depressing to end the day in a place where you don't think you're going to catch one. I had first choice and I feel like I made a good decision starting in one. I'm just going to fish hard and try to get five keepers."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "I think one is the best. In order, I would say one is the best, six second, two is the third, three is the fourth, five is the fifth, and four is just terrible. It's a mud hole."

    Skeet Reese
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 6
How does that affect your game plan? "I don't have a damn clue."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "I think six, one, and two are going to be the most productive. I think they were the most productive yesterday. Three and four just suck. I'm going to be finishing my day on five, and the last hour I've got to make a decision of where I'm going to go and what I'm going to do."

    Edwin Evers
Which hole are you starting on? Hole Number 3
How does that affect your game plan? "Man, I'm excited to have a chance to start shallow-water fishing. I'll have the good holes later this afternoon when that bites heats up."
Which hole are you most looking forward to and why? "Whichever one I catch the fish on. I don't have any preconceived notion; I think they're all pretty good."
