How Started Bass Fishing: I was born and raised in the Everglades of South Florida. My father got me started bass fishing at the age of 6. My father would not let me use live bait. He said, "Girl, that's cheating!"

Career Dream: To become one of the best women anglers in the world.

Career Highlights: Turned pro in 2005. Finished 17th for Angler of the Year in 2006. Finished 14th in WBT Angler of the Year standings in 2007.

Favorite Bass Water: Lake Amistad, Texas

Big Bass: 12-pound largemouth from Florida waters

Favorite Fishing Technique or Style: Topwaters, jigs, soft plastics and jerkbaits. I love light line, spinning reels and finesse tactics. My greatest strengths are best applied to shallow, grassy targets.
