How Started Bass Fishing: My husband and I decided that after years of playing competitive softball, our bodies needed a break, so we bought a boat and started fishing.

Career Highlights: 2008 was my second year on the tour and it was a good one. I made the cut 3 out of 4 tournaments which qualified me to fish the championship tournament on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Ark. I tied for 8th place and managed to finish the year in the Top 10.

Career Dream: To be very well known and respected as a fisherwoman, and to win a big tournament.

Favorite Bass Water: Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Texas

Big Bass: 5 1/2-pound black bass on Lake Lewisville, Texas. I caught her on a modified Carolina rig fishing a Sweet Beaver.

Favorite Fishing Technique or Style: Shaky head/Texas rig
