Hometown: Squires, Mo.

Age: 43

Occupation: Boat Mechanic

College: Seminole Community College, Sanford, Fla.

Degree: AA, and Marine Mechanics, Votec.

How Long Bass Fishing: I have fished my whole life, but I started concentrating on bass when I moved to Central Florida in 1980.

How Started Bass Fishing: It's hard not to target the Florida largemouth when you live in Central Florida.

Career Dream: My dream is to earn a Craftsman Tool sponsorship and to be a Mercury Master mechanic.

Career Highlight: My fishing highlight has to be my very first bass tournament, which took place during the inaugural year of the WBT. I managed to earn 2nd place as a co-angler.

Favorite Bass Water: Lake Downey County Park in Union Park, Fla.

Big Bass: My biggest bass weighed about 3.5 pounds and was taken in Central Florida on a Texas rigged black grape Producto worm.

Favorite Fishing Technique or Style: I stick to my guns and will always revert to big Texas rigged plastic worms.

Sponsors: I desperately am in need of sponsors if I want to continue feeding my tournament habit!
