About Beat Charlie Moore
Do you think you have what it takes to take on the Mad Fisherman, Charlie Moore? Do you consider yourself the "baddest" angler in your area, and want to whoop up on Charlie in front of your friends?
Beat Charlie Moore is a new series for ESPN Outdoors where real people like you challenge Charlie "mano y mano" to anything involving a rod and reel. If Charlie accepts your challenge, we'll set up the time and the place, and Charlie will be there. Anything goes!

Miami, FL—Charlie heads to Miami to take on Shane Procell. Instead of fishing head to head against Shane—his challenge is to actually help the Mad Fisherman catch his first swordfish. The weather gets bad, Charlie gets sick, and that's when the show really kicks into high gear—as Plan A turns into Plan whatever!

Boston, MA—Today's challenger is a first for Beat Charlie Moore. Cara Zavaleta...Playboy's Miss November 2004 takes on the Mad Fisherman for most stripers. Now Cara isn't exactly a fisherwoman per se...but with a little help from a few friends...she might be able to hold her own against Charlie! Keep a look out for Charlie's happy place...it is priceless!
