2012 recap: After falling one point shy of winning the title in 2011, Edwards had the worst season of his career in 2012, going winless and finishing 15th in the standings.

It was only the second time in his eight-year Cup career he failed to make the Chase and the first time since 2006, when he finished 12th (only 10 drivers made the Chase at the time). Edwards will have a new crew chief in veteran Jimmy Fennig.
