LAS VEGAS — Round Six should be like a football game between two high powered offenses, with lots of scoring. There are a lot of great matchups, a lot of bulls that are good to ride, and the bulls are as evenly matched as they can be. The key to winning this round will be to have a bull that is having a better than average day.

There are many matchups worthy of mention here, so I will try to get to them all.

The Odds-On Round Six Favorites:
This is the hardest round so far to pick my four favorites because there are no standouts, but I will go with these guys.

Kody Lostroh on Chester:

J.B. Mauney rode Chester for 89.75 points in Round One, but in Round Six it will be Kody Lostroh's turn.

J.B. was 89.75 on this bull to win Round One. Since they are trading licks here, now it's Kody's turn. Like Robson, he will need the bull to have a great day.

Robson Palermo on Grey Dog:
Grey Dog is a class act, and he fits Robson very well. They've met 3 times for 90, 90, and 89.25 points. He'll need to be 90 or more to win here.

Billy Robinson on Booger Butt:
Billy Robinson is a fill in here, but he has a real chance to line his pockets on this one. He is two for two on Booger Butt for 89.75 and 90.5 points.

Mike Lee on Charlie Bullware:
Even though he seems to have lost a step, Charlie Bullware is arguably the best bull in this round. He is never a safe bet to be ridden, so Mike will have his work cut out for him, but he did take this bull to a 92 score at an Enterprise event in August, so I have to go with the guy who has the best bull.

The Round Six Honorable Mentions:

J.B. Mauney on Beer Goggles:
A bull that delivers an average score of 89.63 points, and is ridden 80 percent of the time by lefties has to be a great pick for Mauney. The only drawback is that he hasn't delivered a 90 point ride in the PBR at any level, and Mauney probably needs a 90 here.

Aaron Roy on Big Iron:
Aaron has ridden this bull twice, but he may not be enough to place deep in this round.

Ben Jones on Hammered:
This is a very good bull, and Ben rode him for 88.5 at a Discovery Tour event back in March. This will be a good chance for him to turn things around.

Brian Canter on Frosty:
Brian was 91 on this bull in Denver way back in January.

Caleb Sanderson on Outta da Blue:
This bull is just a plum. He is a nice matchup for anyone, but while he has delivered round-winning type scores on the BFTS and the lower tours, he may not be enough to get to the top of the leaderboard in this round. Dustin Elliott was 87.75 on him in Round One.

Dustin Elliott on Wrangler's Rock Star:
Ridden a lot by right handers, this bull has delivered some good scores, but was marked low in Round One.

Austin Meier on Little Bo:
They've met twice, with Austin winning both times. In September, he was 88.25 points on Little Bo in Ontario, CA.

Renato Nunes on Carrillo Cartel:
This matchup easily has potential to win the round. This bull is among the best out tonight, among the fastest spinning bulls in the world, and is a perfect match for Renato…except for one thing. Renato's weakness is that he tends to get back on the end of his arm and he will try some big backdoor moves. This bull is probably too fast for that to work. If Renato can stay down and keep his moves small, he could walk off with the round win. If not, it will be a spectacular buckoff. Either way, there is serious wow factor here, so don't go to the fridge and miss this one.

Valdiron de Oliveira on Maverick:
This bull can deliver some points, and if you've been watching the finals, you know Valdiron can probably ride him and pick his nose at the same time. Don't know if the bull will bring enough points to place high, but he has before.

The World Leaders:

Guilherme Marchi on Rowdy LJ:
One of the big puzzlers of the past week is, what has happened to Guilherme Marchi? He really hasn't had any of the easier to ride bulls, but tonight may be his best chance, and that's with a bull that has a 94 percent career buckoff percentage. It's been a tough run.
