LAS VEGAS — We have come to the end of a great year and an even greater World Finals. Lots of big rides this week, and big wrecks, and the two guys fighting it out for the World Championship have made this Finals one of the most exciting in history.

The Odds-On Round Seven Favorites:
I thought it would take a 90 point score to win last night's round, and no one got one, leaving five guys splitting the money. We will see the confetti in Round Seven, because there are too many good matchups that could go over 90.

Robson Palermo on Troubador:
Troubador has really drawn pretty tough this week. Robson hasn't met him before, but he will this evening — for a round win. Robson could make this bull look better than almost any rider here not named Chris Shivers, but he can't afford to make the slightest mistake.

Robson Palermo matched up with Black Pearl for a 92.25 and the Round Three win.

Billy Robinson on Say I Won't Gunner:
Billy has looked like a champ since he stepped in for an injured Zack Brown, and tonight he has a great bull. Pretty much whoever has this bull in whatever round he appears in will be among my favorites.

Kody Lostroh on Soulja Boy:
I picked Mike Lee to win Round One on this bull, but he was only 88 points, which is low for this bull. Kody has been over 90 on him twice, and the only worry here is that maybe the bull has lost a step. Soulja Boy has delivered six 90 point rides in his career, and Kody will need that kind of trip here.

J.B. Mauney on Smackdown:
Bull doesn't have a lot of history. He's been ridden once, by Ryan McConnel in Portland, Ore. for 89.25 points. He had a great out in Round Two against Michael Manes, scoring 44.25 points, and that is enough bull to be over 90 on.

The Round Seven Honorable Mentions:

Elliott Jacoby on Mac-Nett's El Presidente:
Elliott should have won last night's round, but slapped his bull. This bull is a great match for him, but may not get him close enough to the 90's to place deep in this round.

Ben Jones on Over the Edge:
Ben has looked pretty good the last couple of rounds, and this bull is good enough to bring 89-90 point scores.

Aaron Roy on Top Notch:
Top Notch has been one of the best bulls here this week, and Aaron Roy should be the man to get it done on him. Aaron has had a great week, but this will be a real test. This bull can deliver the 90+ point score needed in this round.

Kasey Hayes on Cat Man Do:
This bull bucked Kasey off here two years ago in their only meeting, but I look for Kasey to ride here and place deep.

Code Blue will try to seal the world champion bull title during Sunday's short go.

Ross Coleman on Live Wire:
This is Live Wire's first trip here at the Finals, but he is a great draw anywhere. Ross should get it done on him.

Valdiron de Oliveira on Far West:
Valdiron is one for two on Far West with both matchups happening in March of this year. Austin Meier was 90 on this bull in round 5, and Valdiron could place deep.

Short Go Bulls: Championship Round

The short go will be a random draw, and not a draft. The order has already been drawn, and the riders will be matched with the bull that is in their position in the average coming into the short go.

+123 Voodoo Child:
Whoever is in first place in the average coming in to the short round will have Voodoo Child. The odds say this will be either Lostroh or Mauney who are only separated by a half point going into Round Seven, and both facing bulls they should ride. Considering how they have been going at it all finals, it's fitting that the World Championship could come down to whether or not one of them can ride Voodoo Child, who has only been ridden once in 70 career attempts — by two-time World Champ Justin McBride.

250 Black Pearl:
If Lostroh and Mauney come into the short round leading as they are now, my odds-on favorite to win the round, the Finals average, and the World Championship will be whichever one of them has Black Pearl. He is not easy, but he is a great matchup for either of those guys, and should be enough bull to get the round win here.

341 Unabomber:
A great Canadian that has shown off here in Vegas, carrying Ryan McConnel to a 91.25 score, and Mike Lee to Dr. Tandy Freeman's room.

510 Redbone:
I was surprised to see this bull in the short go until I looked back to see that this is the bull that Luke Snyder had in Round Four. He's also unridden.

404 Uncle Buck:
I predict whoever has him will buck off, unless it's Valdiron de Oliveira.

644 Code Blue:
Could seal the deal for World Champion bull with a great showing here, and a tough and deserving little bull.

439 Master Feeds Show Stopper:
I think no one could have predicted this bull would be in the short go, but he's been very impressive here. One of two bulls in this round from Oh, Canadaaa.

10-5 Crosswired:
Everyone who makes the short round has a good chance to get him ridden — not because he is easy, but because he spends a lot of time in the air and can help a guy out by jumping back underneath riders. However, he's equally likely to plant his rider a foot deep in the arena dirt.

532 Paycheck:
Congratulations to Hyland Cattle for getting this bull into the short go — he's had two great outs here vs. L.J. Jenkins and Dustin Elliott.

468 Necessary Evil:
Has been outstanding this week, taking Ednei Caminhas to an 89 point score in Round Five, and bucking off McKennon Wimberly in Round Two.

CC Chicken on a Chain:
The big monster will be one of the best bulls to have in this round.

309 Spitfire:
One of the best bulls at bucking guys off in the regular season, he hasn't fooled anyone here yet. Would have been ridden twice if Billy Robinson hadn't jumped off too early in Round Five.

K93 Major Payne:
This big red muley is famously unridden in 29 career outs, but that's only because Brian Canter chose to reach down a tenth of a second too soon.

01 The Game:
A great comeback story, this bull will be a good one to have in this round.

433 Big Tex:
Has the best chance to unseat Code Blue in the World Championship Bull race, and has shown no sign of weakness in Vegas.
