6/28/2006

TULSA, Okla. (June 27, 2006) — B&W Hitches has signed a three-year agreement to be presenting sponsor for the Xtreme Bulls Tour, further expanding the manufacturer's sponsorship presence in rodeo. As part of the agreement, B&W Hitches has also been named the Official Trailer Hitch of the Xtreme Bulls Tour.

"B&W has supported Pro Rodeo for many years and by stepping up to become the Xtreme Bulls Tour presenting sponsor, it's clear that they're in this sport for the long haul," said Jim Wilburn, president and CEO of Winnercomm, which acquired the licensing rights to the PRCA's Xtreme Bulls Tour in 2005. Tulsa-based Winnercomm is one of the largest third-party producers of programming for ESPN. The company originates a wide range of television coverage of professional rodeo for the PRCA and manages the ProRodeo Web site on ESPN.com (www.prorodeo.com).

The 2006 Dodge Xtreme Bulls Ride Hard Tour features 10 events strategically scheduled throughout the year at famous venues and in conjunction with some of the most prestigious rodeos in America. The 2006 Dodge Xtreme Bulls Ride Hard Tour will have 22 hours of programming coverage on ESPN and ESPN2, including three hours on Thanksgiving Day. Based in Humboldt, Kansas, B&W Custom Truck Beds, Inc. was founded by Roger Baker and Joe Works in 1987. The business was born when Works and Baker, who had worked together at Humboldt Industries, recognized a need for the manufacture of quality truck beds. Works and Baker began building custom truck beds to meet the various needs of customers, recognizing that the practical needs of farmers and ranchers require providing tools such as hydraulic bale loaders and gooseneck ball hitches with unique features that also allow the vehicle to be more useful. In 1991, B&W received a patent for its design of the Turnover Ball Gooseneck hitch, an innovative product that allows the gooseneck ball to be turned over, leaving an unobstructed, flat bed. The Turnover Ball Hitch has since become the main revenue producer for the company, with sales in the United States, Canada, and overseas. For more information, visit turnoverball.com.
