Reutimann dropped to back of field

FONTANA, Calif. -- David Reutimann's front-row qualifying effort Friday was disallowed when NASCAR inspectors confiscated both rear shock absorbers on the No. 00 Toyota that was outside the limits for shock pressure.

"This is a result of [Reutimann's car] exceeding gas level limits in the rear shocks," said NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston.

Reutimann will have to start at the back of the field in Sunday's Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway. No additional penalties are expected for the team, ...
