Pay your respects to Petty Enterprises
Please don't mourn the passing of Petty Enterprises as we know it. The decades-long suffering is finally over, writes Ed Hinton.
LEVEL CROSS, N.C. -- Petty Enterprises is better off now, past its suffering of the past few dismal decades. It is in a better place -- the memories of those who knew it in all its glory, unequaled in NASCAR to this day, with 268 wins and 10 championships.
