VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Suzuki's Ricky Carmichael won
his first Amp'd Mobile World supercross GP race of the season
Saturday night at B.C. Place Stadium.
Kawasaki's James Steward was second and Yamaha's Chad Reed
third. Carmichael moved into second place on the second lap and
passed Stewart on lap 16 and held on for the win.
"When you get out there and the adrenaline gets pumping it's so
fun," said Carmichael. "I give James credit because he's hurt and
gave it his all. I will take the win if I can."
Honda's Ryan Sipes got his first victory in the Amp'd Mobile
Supercross Lites main event.
