DeAnda, Freeman to sing national anthem
Rising musical stars Freeman and Paula DeAnda will each sing the national anthem at the two NASCAR races at Watkins Glen.
A couple of rising musical stars will perform the national anthems for the Busch and Nextel Cup series races this weekend at Watkins Glen, N.Y.
The native of Wales now resides in Los Angeles and is working on his debut album with producer Howard Benson, who has produced for acts such as Chris Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects and Hoobastank. The album is due to be released at the end of 2007 or early 2008.
Paula DeAnda will sing the national anthem prior to the Busch series' Zippo 200 on Saturday.
DeAnda, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, has been an opening act for superstars Nelly, Akon, former Kumbia Kings member Frankie J and rap star Baby Bash.
The video for her new single "Easy" will feature artist Bow Wow. Her previous hit single "Walk Away" was recently certified gold and continues to be in solid rotation on pop and rhythm stations.
