Stewart earns fifth straight victory

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- James Stewart raced to his fifth consecutive Monster Energy AMA Supercross win Saturday night, beating Chad Reed in front of 43,812 fans at Angel Stadium.

"Man, it was crazy out there," said Stewart, the San Manuel Yamaha rider from Haines City, Fla. "I was just riding out there and realized it was raining. We got one more race out here in California and so far it's been good."

Earlier, Kawasaki's Jake Weimer of Rupert, Idaho, won his third AMA Arenacross Lites class race of the year and grabbed the class points lead.
