Kimberly is one of those rare skaters who attended regular high school full-time. After graduating last June, she decided to focus on her skating and take some time off from school. She plans to return to school next fall, probably at a community college.
In her free skate, she portrays the orphan Cosette from Les Miserables.
Her hometown, Hayward, is about ten minutes away from the Oakland rink where she trains.
