Hawaiian boxer remains undefeated
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Brian Viloria defended his North American Boxing Federation flyweight title with an 11th round knockout of Gilberto Keb Bass on Friday night.
Viloria, from Waipahu, Hawaii, used a powerful left hook to the body that sent Bass to the canvas in the scheduled 12-round fight.
He improved to 15-0 with nine KOs. Keb Bass, from Hunucma, Mexico, fell to 22-11-1.
Viloria, a two-time junior Olympic gold medalist, beat Keb Bass' brother, Juan Alfonso, on Feb. 13 in Connecticut in his fourth title defense.
