Boxer says, 'I'm not retired at all'
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- The "Golden Boy" is returning to the ring.
Instead of retiring, Oscar De La Hoya plans to fight in the welterweight division.
De La Hoya said he has no immediate fight plans but ruled out fighting as a middleweight. He lost his last fight in a ninth-round knockout against undisputed champion Bernard Hopkins.
"I'm not retired at all," De La Hoya told El Nuevo Dia newspaper in Puerto Rico.
