Chang was on tour for 16 years
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The youngest male champion in Grand Slam history is going to help a new generation of young American tennis players.
Michael Chang, who won the 1989 French Open at 17, was appointed Thursday to a two-year term on the U.S. Tennis Association's High Performance Committee.
