Wolfson ships starter for Red Smith H.

OZONE PARK, N.Y. -- Marty Wolfson doesn't do it often, but it usually pays to take note when the trainer does ship a horse from his south Florida headquarters to New York for a stakes race.

Since 2001, Wolfson has shipped in five horses to New York and won two stakes, with a second and a third. On Wednesday, Wolfson put Golden Strategy on a plane bound for New York and Saturday's Grade 2, $150,00 Red Smith Handicap at Aqueduct.
