PARIS -- It is known as the City of Light, but nothing defines this place like the glittering works of art that call it home.

There is the majesty of Gustave Eiffel's great tower, more than 1,000 feet of soaring, intricate iron; the coy Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci in the Musee du Louvre; the sheer beauty of La Place Concorde.
