Heavyweight Solis stops Drummond

KEY WEST, Fla. -- Former Cuban Olymic gold medalist Odlanier Solis defended his World Boxing Council International heavyweight championship title Saturday night when Carl Drummond quit after three rounds.

Solis, now a Miami resident, and Drummond, a Costa Rican living in Hollywood, Fla., were scheduled for 10 rounds in the main event of Fight Night in the Keys at an outdoor ring at Mallory Square.
