'Chamberlain' flies late in Turf Sprint

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Chamberlain Bridge missed a scheduled workout last weekend because of an abscessed hoof, but he did not miss the mark in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint on Saturday. He closed furiously when guided to the center of the track and easily ran past pace-setting Central City to win by 1 1/2 lengths.
