Shane Mosley defamation suit dismissed

NEW YORK -- A $12 million defamation lawsuit filed against BALCO founder Victor Conte by boxer "Sugar" Shane Mosley has been dismissed.

The New York Daily News says the case was "voluntarily dismissed with prejudice and without costs, disbursements or attorney's fees to any party against another." That's according to a document filed on Friday in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan. No terms were given.

A case dismissed with prejudice cannot be refiled.
