Team Valor to pay Robby Albarado

Barry Irwin, the president of Team Valor International, has agreed to compensate Robby Albarado, the jockey originally named to ride Animal Kingdom in the Kentucky Derby.

Albarado was scheduled to ride Animal Kingdom but lost the mount through a chain of events that began when he broke his nose in a spill at Churchill Downs three days before the Derby.
