Bob's Worth wins Cheltenham Gold Cup

CHELTENHAM, England -- Bob's Worth overtook long-time leader Long Run to win the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival on Friday, justifying his position as 11-4 favorite for one of Britain's top races.

Bob's Worth made it 5 of 5 at Cheltenham after jumping the final fence level with Long Run and Sir Des Champs before pulling clear in the sprint to the line, earning trainer Nicky Henderson his 50th festival winner. Sir Des Champs beat Long Run to second place.
