1st GM of Meadowlands among Hall of Fame inductees

GOSHEN, N.Y. -- The first general manager of the Meadowlands Racetrack, trainer/driver Dick Stillings and five horses are to be inducted into the Harness Racing Hall of Fame on Sunday.

Bob Quigley was GM of the Meadowlands when the track opened in 1976. He oversaw harness and thoroughbred operations for six years. Stillings is best known for sending out Little Brown Jug winners Barberry Spur in 1986 and Jaguar Spur in 1987.
