Haas' shoulder, Murray's wrist force players from French Open
PARIS -- Tommy Haas and Andy Murray withdrew from the French Open on Tuesday due to injuries.
The 10th-ranked Haas injured his right shoulder, while No. 11 Murray pulled out in the first round of the Hamburg Masters last week because of a right wrist problem.
On Monday, Belgium's Xavier Malisse pulled out with a wrist injury, and Spaniard Alberto Martin withdrew with an ailing elbow.
Last week, Mario Ancic pulled out because he's still recovering from a case of mononucleosis that's sidelined him for more than two months.
Nicolas Kiefer of Germany and Paradorn Srichaphan of Thailand also are out because of wrist injuries. They will be replaced by Chris Guccione of Australia and Andreas Seppi of Italy, respectively.
The French Open begins Sunday and continues through June 10.
