Unseeded Pratt drops No. 2 seed Kirilenko at Bangkok
BANGKOK, Thailand -- Unseeded Nicole Pratt of Australia upset second-seeded Maria Kirilenko 7-6 (1), 2-6, 7-5 Tuesday at the Pattaya Women's Open.

The 33-year-old Pratt held on during the 2½-hour match, which was interrupted for two hours by rain.
"It was a good effort," Pratt said. "I lost concentration in the second set and came back from a break down in the third set. I just waited for my shots and kept fighting."
Top-seeded Marion Bartoli of France downed Nuria Llagostera Vives 6-3, 6-4. Vania King of the United States beat Jelena Kostanic Tosic 6-1, 6-3 and Martina Sucha of Slovakia defeated Andreja Klepac, 7-5, 6-3. Sybille Bammer of Austria defeated seventh-seeded Vasilisa Bardina 6-1, 6-4.
Aiko Nakamura of Japan shrugged off a slow start to down Thai qualifier Noppawan Lertcheewakarn 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. Gisela Dulko of Argentina defeated Sun Tian-tian 6-4, 6-1.
Alla Kudryavtseva of Russia rallied from a set down against Meng Yuan to win 1-6, 6-1, 6-3.
Israeli Tzipora Obziler beat Yuliana Fedak 6-2, 6-2 and Romina Oprandi of Italy beat Olga Savchuk 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
