Razzano, Schruff win openers at Prague
PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- France's Virginie Razzano, seeded in a WTA Tour event for the first time in a year, defeated China's Sun Tiantian 6-0, 7-5 Monday in the first round of the Prague Open.

Razzano, seeded seventh, earned her first victory of the European clay season.
Germany's Julia Schruff ended a three-match losing streak, beating Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova 6-4, 7-6 (3) for her first victory since reaching the semifinals in Acapulco, Mexico, in early March.
Germany's Sandra Kloesel defeated Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn 7-5, 6-0 for her first main-draw victory since November.
Milagros Sequera of Venezuela downed Julie Ditty of the United States 6-2, 6-4, three days after losing to Ditty in the semifinals of a minor clay tournament in the U.S.
