Azarenka, 17, remains on path to Prague final
PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- Victoria Azarenka, who last week reached the first final of her career, upset fifth-seeded Nathalie Dechy 7-6 (3), 6-1 Thursday in the second round of the Prague Open.
Azarenka will play sixth-seeded Akiko Morigami in the quarterfinals. Morigami defeated Milagros Sequera 6-1, 6-3.
Azarenka, a 17-year-old player from Belarus, lost to Greta Arn of Germany in the title match of the Estoril Open in Portugal last week.
Slovak qualifier Dominika Cibulkova advanced to the quarters by defeating Andrea Hlavackova 6-1, 6-3. She will face Camille Pin, who ousted Yvonne Meusburger 6-4, 6-4.
