Fedak upsets Krajicek in England
BIRMINGHAM, England -- Michaella Krajicek was upset in the first round of the grass-court DFS Classic on Monday, losing to Yuliana Fedak of Ukraine 7-6 (5), 6-4.

The 14th-seeded Dutchwoman had reached the third round of the French Open.
Sixteenth-seeded Maria Kirilenko of Russia and No. 15 Eleni Daniilidou of Greece each defeated Americans at Edgbaston Priory Club. Kirilenko stopped Raquel Kops-Jones 6-3, 6-3 and Daniilidou topped Laura Granville 6-3, 7-6 (5).
Other seeded winners included Julia Vakulenko, Agnieszka Radwanska and Meilen Tu.
