Top-seeded Venus races past Pennetta to reach Seoul final

SEOUL, South Korea -- Venus Williams advanced to the final at the Hansol Korea Open by defeating Italy's Flavia Pennetta on Saturday in straight sets.

The top-seeded Williams will face fourth-seeded Maria Kirilenko of Russia in Sunday's final.

Williams beat the unseeded Pennetta 6-2, 6-2. Kirilenko defeated fifth-seeded Eleni Daniilidou of Greece 7-5, 6-0.

Williams is 2-0 against Kirilenko, who is ranked 29th in the world.
