VINA DEL MAR, Chile -- Sebastian Decoud of Argentina upset seventh-seeded Agustin Calleri 7-6 (3), 7-5 on Thursday at the Movistar Open to reach his first ATP quarterfinals.

In other second-round matches, second-seeded Tommy Robredo of Spain beat Brian Dabul of Argentina 6-3, 7-6 (5); wild card Juan Ignacio Chela beat fellow Argentine Martin Vassallo Arguello 6-4, 7-6 (4); and Jose Acasuco beat Thomaz Bellucci 7-6 (3), 6-3.

Decoud made it into his first main draw since the French Open when Alberto Martin withdrew from the tournament with cramps. Calleri, a three-time Movistar quarterfinalist, won his first match last week since the U.S. Open.

Robredo, making his first appearance in Chile since 2001, lost his serve twice to Dabul but prevailed in 1 hour, 45 minutes.

He'll meet Chela, who's been sidelined since the French Open by a herniated disc.
