Soderling out in D.C. with injury
Need the scores from any match played in today's tournaments? WASHINGTON -- A right elbow injury has forced Robin Soderling to withdraw from his Legg Mason Tennis Classic quarterfinal against Juan Martin Del Potro.
The second-seeded Del Potro advanced on Friday to the semifinals and will play the winner of the match between Fernando Gonzalez and Tommy Haas.
Soderling was runner-up to Roger Federer at the French Open. The No. 5-seeded player in Washington won his third-round match Wednesday against Marc Gicquel in three sets.
