And we're back.

Hopefully we'll finally get the Serena Williams-Kim Clijsters women's semifinal in. Rain washed out all play Friday and gave Williams a day off after a marathon doubles encounter.

Guess what? It's still wet, and there hasn't been much play today.

Some key non-rain stats: Williams leads Clijsters 7-1 in their head-to-heads, and hasn't dropped a Grand Slam semifinal since the 2003 French Open. She's riding a 12-match U.S. Open winning streak, as is Clijsters, the 2005 champ on the comeback trail.

No early round blips for Williams, either. She hasn't dropped a set. Clijsters wobbled against Williams' big sis Venus in the fourth round, then recovered.

Now if Mother Nature would only cooperate.
