WIMBLEDON, England -- Marcos Baghdatis has withdrawn from Wimbledon because of a knee injury.

He has been replaced by Karol Beck of Slovakia.

The 95th-ranked Cypriot, a Wimbledon semifinalist and Australian Open finalist in 2006, had been drawn Friday to play the 21st-seeded Feliciano Lopez of Spain in the first round.

Baghdatis had pulled out of his second-round match Wednesday at the Ordina Open in the Netherlands, citing a knee problem.
