Giants earn first win of season
After a quarter, it seemed like the New York Giants might be bound for yet another defeat in this difficult season. But then, well, it finally happened: New York won, 23-7 at the expense of the lowly Minnesota Vikings and debutant quarterback Josh Freeman. New Tom Coughlin's crew is 1-6. What's next for New York?

NFL Week 7 -- Vikings at Giants
The Super Bowl champs from two years ago! A playoff team from last season! And ... only one win between them in 2013? That's the situation facing the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants, whose playoff hopes appear dead already. The questions, then: Is this the week the 0-6 Giants finally win? And what to make of the Minnesota quarterback situation?

When will Giants finally win?
They lost by only six -- and after four straight defeats by two-plus touchdowns, it's a step. They also had the ball with a chance to win in the last three minutes. But the New York Giants still couldn't get in the win column, with an Eli Manning interception against the Chicago Bears dooming Gotham's team to a 27-21 loss and an 0-6 start. When will the Giants finally get a victory? Should they even try to win anymore?
Worse shape -- Giants or Steelers?
Talk about symmetry. Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger both were picked in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft. Both have won two Super Bowls. And both own ugly 0-4 records (is there any other kind of 0-4 record?) thus far this year. Yeah, things are dire for the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. Which esteemed quarterback will bounce back first? Whose team is in more trouble?
